I Want Your Money [Blu-ray]

Light-hearted Take At a Dark Subject
Mixed in with great sound bites from real political figures like Ken Blackwell and Tom McClintock are unique and humorous vignettes of animated politicians like Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan. This light-hearted approach to the dark subject matter of out-of-control government spending is fun and unassuming. The film is certainly worth the view if you're a conservative, a Tea Party member, or an open-minded independent thinker. If you identify with the left side of the political spectrum, you will probably not enjoy this film (despite the clever jabs at George W. Bush and Sarah Palin's intelligence). There is simply too much Obama-bashing for you to stomach. Not for me. Obama has come to represent modern socialism--an ideology that Bush II seems to have prototyped during his stint in office and there cannot be enough bashing of that ideology for my tastes.

I was afraid this documentary would be strictly partisan after skipping over Bush I and praising the Gingrich era. But...

An Excellent Documentary Film that Everyone Should Watch!
Excellent documentary! The film was well done and provides a learning experience for all age groups. After watching the movie, I checked the information for its accuracy and found it to be all true. A must watch for those who value their future in America!

Great teaching in economics with fun added!
We saw this movie in the theater at the suggestion of a friend who knows the writer/director. My 10 and 12 year old children accompanied their father and I for a fun time seeing this movie! When we came out, our 12 year old son said, with great relief, "Now I understand what socialism is!" That alone was worth the price of the tickets! Since then, he has asked, on more than one occasion, "When is I Want Your Money coming out on DVD?" This is a greatly amusing movie, with political satire, economics lessons and great spoofs of the characters. A must to anyone wanting to understand or explain an otherwise dull topic!
